Element Logic joins DFactory to drive intelligent logistics automation

DFactory Barcelona, the Industry 4.0 ecosystem promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), continues to expand its network of technology companies with the addition of Element Logic, a company specialized in intralogistics and warehouse automation. To mark its arrival in the ecosystem, CZFB’s Executive President, Pere Navarro, and CZFB’s General Director, Blanca Sorigué, met today with César Nosti, General Manager of Element Logic for Spain and Portugal, to welcome the company and learn firsthand about the projects it will develop from DFactory Barcelona.

Element Logic is a technology company specializing in intralogistics and warehouse automation, and is the world’s first and largest AutoStore integrator, delivering a high-density robotic storage and order fulfilment solution. This system forms the core of its offering, around which the company integrates proprietary software, piece-picking robots, and material handling equipment to provide a comprehensive solution that automates and coordinates the entire warehouse workflow. Founded in Norway in 1985, the company employs more than 950 professionals across 30 countries and has completed over 575 AutoStore installations worldwide, with more than 18,500 operational robots.

Expansion of Operations in Spain and Portugal

The company joins DFactory Barcelona at a time of expanding operations in Spain and Portugal. Becoming part of this ecosystem will enable it to strengthen its position as a technology partner for warehouse and logistics operations optimization, while creating new opportunities for collaboration with technology companies in fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
